DB Cargo Eurasia has been working in the Eurasian Corridor since 2008 and, following a reorganisation within the DB Group, has been the specialist for Eurasian container transport by rail since 2018. DB Cargo Eurasia forms the network of DB Cargo structures on the eastern external border of the EU and fills rail transport within the DB network with volumes to and from Asia.
With the transcontinental connections from Europe to China, customers have access to efficient and competitive alternatives to time-consuming ship connections and cost-intensive air freight.

Founded in 1999, the Russian subsidiary of DB Cargo provides customers with individual support from transport planning to rail transport and all accompanying logistics services. DB Cargo Russija operates in the DB Cargo Eurasia network as 3PL, as a corridor forwarder between China and Europe, as a rail operator between Russia and China and as a rail forwarder in CIS 1520.
